High number of booming bitterns this year ....
....turtle doves under pressure - this is a global issue .... numbers improved at Minsmere this year - great news....

Little owl nest..a first for Minsmere.look warm and fluffy..have 3 chicks so keeping them warm a challenge..spread wings to cover

Yes! Sometimes a post hangs while I'm listening then I finish it off, hence the strange timings, and I nip off to do otheer things - we syncopate well, I think!
