Not sure if what I have seen was restricted or not but I have seen the graph sent to the government on predicted increase in the new variant. Its coming in rapidly and the shape of the curve, well its almost a straight line upwards-in about 2 weeks. If it means standing in a cold line of people or traveling to the next town, please do a walk in booster ASAP before the panic sets in. Just verify you are eligible before you go and the centre you attend has stocks of the booster; more restrictions must be inevitable. If I was Boris & that landed on my desk Id be very concerned indeed. If I was Boris & that landed on my desk I’d be planning my Christmas party in two weeks time. Things would go full circle, the large cabinet would become a small Duck House, only really good at claiming expenses. |

Now feeling really glad we have both had the booster.
The youngest left London as his employer has gone bust and he might not need his rented flat for long. Returned here last week, with as it turned out COVID!
The symptoms have not been severe and meet the case definition for Omicron.
High efficiency masks worn inside and Ive tried to create a negative pressure house, all the clean air is sucked into the 'contaminated' rooms and blown out the open windows. 7 days only another 3 to go!

Just looked at the data, 8 times more virulent than Delta, MASSIVE wave incoming, numbers will go vertical.
Boris thinks the NHS can cope. No it wont, you cannot run an engine at full speed for 20months and then say go faster, it will break. (or the people in it will).
Forget the politics, give any help to the NHS you can in the next 3 months, oh and yes stock up essentials, the % of people getting Covid will impact supplies of everything.
My suggestion is open up The Nightingales again put the unvaccinated in them and let the relatives treat them in there, unlimited supplies of medication, including folk remedies.

Same problem here with the Republicans. We will likely make it through the holidays, although some states are still struggling with Delta. January and February are going to be the real test. |

Thinking of becoming a Vaccinator, I'll need training but I have the key people skills and the anatomy knowledge, or may be a driver. They are paid roles but a good % of the money can go directly to the local food bank. PS managed to keep it out of the house.!! Although this ones like a Californian Brushwood fire, we can only do so much . |

Got my booster booked for Wednesday morning, been putting it off due the second jab wiping me out, let's see what happens after Wednesday.
